We are a Los Angeles-based production company looking for an awesome road manager to join our team!
The road manager will have a variety of responsibilities, but ultimately will coordinate on-the-ground logistics for our international live comedy tour.
We are looking for someone that is quick-on-their-feet and capable of effective decision-making when faced with the pressures that come with traveling and working in a live event environment.
The road manager will work with our touring team ahead of shows to discuss details related to travel, accommodations, and production elements.
While on tour, the road manager will be the point-person for coordinating logistics in the field and will be the primary communication liaison for the team back in LA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate front-of-house needs and delegate tasks to event volunteers
Oversee production elements (stage setup, lighting, sound) and ensure proper execution
Manage travel details and communicate information to other crew members
Organize local transportation to and from venues, hotels, airports, etc
Ensure luggage/gear are safe and accounted for at all times
Attend conference calls or show advances as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Ability to move/lift heavy luggage
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to lead and execute requested tasks with minimal instruction
Ability to delegate tasks as necessary
This position requires both domestic and international travel — a valid passport is required.
Travel and meal expenses will be covered.
The tour schedule varies, but does occur year-round with most events scheduled over weekends.
