Position Summary:Manages all warehouse activities.
Manages the warehouse ensuring the receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming through a warehouse.
Also ensures that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities.
Supervises warehouse personnel.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Ensure quality standards and productivity standards are achieved with safety being a priority.Staff, train, evaluate and develop team membersAccountable for supervisory functions of the shift/department assignedResponsible for Warehouse productivity tracking, to meet customer schedules and maximize operational efficiencySchedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facilityAllocate necessary space for stock rotationAssist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss controlOversee shipping and receiving functions as applicableSecure company assetsAssist with various transportation/warehouse duties related to DOT regulations, OSHA, fleet operations, and schedulingCoach and lead the Warehouse team to increase productivity and provide high-quality customer serviceEnsure completion and proper execution of work proceduresAbility to read and understand product codesManage within labor and OPEX budgetOther projects or duties as assignedPreferred Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree preferredRequired Skills and Experience:High school diploma or GED required2-4 years related experienceRequires experience managing people/budgetsCandidates who qualify should have the availability and flexibility to work any shift neededComputer and database application skillsFamiliarity with inventory management systemsAbility to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift productForklift certification is required upon commencement of workThis position must pass a post-offer background and drug testThis position must pass a post-offer background and drug testPhyscial Demands and Work Enviornment:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
