About the Role:
As the Retention Marketing Manager, you will help develop and execute the customer retention strategy across all lifecycle marketing touchpoints including email, SMS, subscription, loyalty program, and VIP customer cultivation.
You will work to carry out the brand story and drive high growth collaborating cross functionally with creative, brand marketing, growth marketing, and customer service.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver the brand experience effectively across all touchpoints through product and brand storytelling; establish and own the marketing calendar across retention initiatives.
- Develop and execute the overall retention strategy across various channels and initiatives including email, SMS, subscription, loyalty program, referrals, wine club, direct mail, etc. Create nurture tactics to improve the customer’s journey in efforts to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Create email and SMS campaigns tying back to the business goals and overarching brand messaging; drive engagement, clicks, and revenue. Implement automated lifecycle campaigns using segmentation around browse and purchase behaviors; setup and execution; monitor performance and communicate learnings.
- Leverage customer and purchase data to make informed decisions, identifying areas of opportunity across all touchpoints.
- Cultivate strong customer economics across repeat rates, frequency, engagement, CLV, churn prevention.
- Regularly analyze campaign results; establish KPIs and goals to work towards; provide weekly and monthly reports; identify actionable next steps for improvement.
- Think of new innovative ways to encourage repeat shopping behaviors; A/B test to better understand and optimize across campaigns. Identify new viable channels and tactics to keep customers engaged and increase CLV.
What you’ll bring:
- 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience within the alcoholic beverage, CPG or beauty preferred
- Experience using CRM and ESP platforms; Klaviyo, Yotpo and Shopify Plus experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of lifecycle and automation best practices
- Subscription and loyalty program experience is ideal
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and report on data
- Detailed and quality oriented; ability to understand and deliver an inspiring brand experience
- Hard working, self-starter mentality; highly collaborative and communicative
- Ability to plan and execute multiple projects at once
