You Are:A Consulting maestro with tons of experience in the retail industry. Your expertise Advising clients on data-driven retail, product development, sourcing and merchandising strategies to achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals. You have energy and drive in abundance, along with personal resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love of continual learning. You have a flair for breaking down processes into logical parts and constructing crystal-clear reasoning and analyses-an aptitude you use to decimate problems. Communication and people skills You have both in spades.
The Work:
+ Go deep to get the lay of the land of clients’ position in the retail industry to deliver clients’ business options in the context of global, economic, technology, and social trends.
+ Help your team implement the right data-driven solution to meet the needs of clients in the retail industry.
+ Help Accenture project teams to provide world-class business solutions from concept to implementation to our clients across omni-channel merchandising capabilities: including integrated end to end planning, assortment optimization and management, and pricing and promotional optimization and management
+ Help with business development efforts as needed.
+ Apply strong analytical skills to dig deep into research and large data sets to generate recommendations and insights and drive outcomes.
+ Use data models and visualization to bring your analysis to life
+ Build relationships with clients to sustain Accenture’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.
+ Mentor junior members of the team.
+ Keep deepening your prowess in the retail industry or industries to reinforce Accenture’s reputation as a thought leader.

Here’s What You Need:
+ Minimum of 4 years of Retail Merchandising, Planning or Inventory Management experience including 2 years as a consultant at an external consulting firm or in an internal consulting role.
+ Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in driving insights using statistics or data analysis
+ A Bachelor’s degree
Bonus Points if:
+ You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
