Retail Marketing Manager

The  Retail Marketing Manager  is responsible for the development and creation of marketing plans and tools that support the sales team in gaining distribution and activating Avaline at retail.

These activities will support gaining new authorizations and increasing chain promotional support that drives increased retail sales of Avaline.

Responsibilities:
Plan, develop and execute in-store marketing programs.

Collaborate with sales to identify needs and implement strategic marketing campaigns for national accounts (in-store, online, and event support) Establish relationships with key accounts and work with their marketing counterparts (i.e.

Safeway/Just for You and Kroger/ClickList and etc) to develop specialized and localized retailer programming like digital/social, consumer promotions, in-store merchandising concepts, and event marketing Ideate, develop and produce sales tools like: sales collateral, tech sheets, distributor presentations, retail presentations, monthly marketing communications, point-of-sale materials, shelf tags, coupons (print & digital), promotional calendars/planning and in-store brand partnerships Work with sales team to analyze and interpret consumer insights from third party providers like, ACNielsen, IRI or other syndicated data sources to leverage in retail presentations  Identify, collaborate, and create compelling in-store merchandising partnerships that gain incremental retail support Work with other internal marketing teams like the Social & Influencer Marketing team to leverage brand building campaigns and the Influencer Marketing Associate to execute retail ambassador programs that result in retail activations In conjunction with the sales team, manage paid and owned digital media that is focused on driving to retail.

This includes the planning, creative process, execution and management of external paid media consultants/agencies.

Create relationships and manage marketing content on 3rd Party eCommerce platforms like Syndigo, Instacart, Shipt, Drizly, MiniBar, Vivino, etc.

Collaborate with the sales team to measure impact of marketing programs Manage the retail marketing budget and calendar, project deadlines and status meetings to ensure successful and timely implementation of deliverables
Job Requirements:
4-6 years of marketing experience Bachelor’s Degree Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, startup environment with a sense of urgency Team Player
– must be able to work well with cross-functional teams Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
– delivering results on time and within budget Analytical
– can interpret data from multiple sources (internal and external) to assess performance and provide recommendations for improvement Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite and Adobe
