Pura Vita opened in September 2018 as the first 100% plant based Italian restaurant and wine bar in the US. At Pura Vita we have created a unique dining experience that has the ambiance of a New York City wine bar with a traditional menu reflecting the best of Southern Italy. QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent at multitasking
Strong leadership skills
Knowledge of POS systems and third party delivery platforms
Strong wine and beer knowledge
Knowledge of vegan lifestyle and cuisine
Professional and productive communication skills
Experience working in a full service, high volume restaurant
Must be flexible to work nights, holidays & weekends according to the needs of the business.
Bilingual preferred
Food Handlers Certification
2+ years of management experience
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that all guests receive warm and welcoming service
Understand all company policies and procedures
Achieve objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
Continually strive to develop hourly staff in all areas of professional development.
Make employment and termination decisions
Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
Cultivate professional and positive communication skills and leadership ability
Oversee cash handling
Manage labor to cover the needs of business while meeting labor targets.
