Residential Project Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in real estate and/or construction management
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate development, business, construction management, land planning, civil engineering, or related fields required
- Community relations skills desired
- Superior verbal and written communication skills including grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on solving problems and developing creative solutions
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Residential Project Manager Job Duties
- Oversee and manage budgets, schedules, negotiations and control costs associated with each project
- Process grading permits, improvement plans, process and record final subdivision maps, execute subdivision agreements and improvement bonds, process and execute dry utility contracts and drawings, manage architectural design and process building permits, DRE processing, and bond exoneration
- Work local, state and deferral governments to manage approval process
- Manage all feasibility and due diligence studies to analyze potential risk, cost, and/or schedule ramifications
- Schedule and manage horizontal construction and land development operations with field construction team
- Ensure construction is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
