[Remote] Regional Sales Manager (Fastener exp. pref.) Description
Our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to add to their team in the Los Angeles area. Covering the territory from Los Angeles to San Diego, you will help develop strategic accounts and relationships within the lumber industry. You will help develop a territory that the company has mostly left untouched over the years. To help you succeed, you will have a strong support system that will provide you with leads and marketing support. - Develop a strategy with key initiatives
- Execute sales strategy
- Develop business with key/major accounts
- Integrate training, pricing, and marketing initiatives
- Perform sales & marginal analysis
- Identify potential and qualified prospects
- Gather market intelligence information
- Execute orientation programs for all new customers
- Maintain inventory accuracy
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with customers and prospects
- Communicate product, market, and program information to customers
- Create awareness for critical information such as sales trends, new customers, sales issues
- Communicate with accounting about terms, credit issues, new customers, programs
- Conduct monthly reporting and communication
- Review overall and individual customer sales and margin
- Submit sales and expense budgets
[Remote] Regional Sales Manager (Fastener exp. pref.) Qualifications
- 4+ years outside sales experience required
- Residential construction industry experience required
- Building materials industry experience a plus
- Fastener experience a plus
- Driver’s License required
