Remote Audit Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION

A reputable CPA firm is seeking an Audit Supervisor to join their team full-time!

Responsibilities for Audit Supervisor:

  • Ability and desire to run client engagements from start to finish,
    • includes planning, executing, directing, and completing audits, reviews, and compilations and managing to budget
  • Prepare, draft financial statements, and note disclosures
  • Supervise and train staff auditors and interns in the audit and review process
  • Identify problem areas and client issues and propose solutions to supervisors, managers, and partners
  • Develop and maintain great professional relationships with client staff
  • Up to date on standards and regulations and assist in communicating and implementing changes in the department

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in accounting
  • Master’s in accounting or eligible to sit for the CPA Exam (preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in public accounting
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • CPA certification or in process of obtaining certification
  • Ability to supervise/lead projects, multi-task, think independently, and problem solve
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and time management skills Experience in the CIRA industry (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year

  • Auditing: 5 years (Required)
  • Microsoft Excel: 5 years (Required)
