MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.*Description*As the Regulatory Affairs Manager you will be responsible for the following:* Ensure regulatory compliance of product nutritional and ingredient information, including ingredient and allergen list, nutrition /supplement facts panel, net weight, and claims.* Review product packaging for compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and company specifications.* Work with Supply Chain to ensure raw materials and finished products follow specifications and labels.* Work with Innovation and Marketing on claims and claim substantiation in compliance with applicable FDA, FTC, and other regulatory body guidelines.* Provide regulatory guidance and assist with compliance-related inquiries.* Assist with ensuring website and social media advertising content is consistent and in compliance.* Assist with validation and relevance of claims when formulations are developed or modified.* Maintain external references, lists of national and international regulation standards, and guidance documents that pertain to product labeling.* Stay up to date with current and emerging regulatory policies and their impact on our products.* Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory, Food Science, Nutrition, or another related field.* 5+ years of relevant regulatory experience in the food/supplement industry.* Strong understanding of FDA regulations and ability to provide strategic guidance in the food/supplement industry.* Strong knowledge of U.S. labeling and quality regulations for food and supplements.
