Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in Thales CP&L, you will be responsible for managing the accounts in Southern California and maximizing revenue for the company.

Tasked with creating, developing and executing sales strategies for assigned region as well as generating accurate and realistic sales forecasts.

The RSM is expected to deliver consistent revenue performance and growth, and will need to opportunistically look at the market for breakout revenue opportunities.

(Quota responsibility usually ranges in 3.2Me – 3.6Me range)
Job Responsibilities:
* You will manage, develop and grow strategic prospects and existing customer relationships.
* You will identify, qualify and quantify all opportunities within an assigned set of territory account(s).
* You will develop and deliver accurate and technically correct sales presentations to potential customers and partners.
* You will manage all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, development of the customer relationships at all levels and implementation of the account plans.
* You will deliver on set objectives to achieve billings and growth targets
* You will develop strategic account plans and provide detailed consistent updates in Salesforce.com
* You will effectively manage internal resources available to promote teamwork to drive success
Required Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years of solutions sales experience in an enterprise IT environment focused on Data Security, Encryption, Key Management, Digital Payments, and/or Cloud Security.
* 3+ years of experience managing major account sales
* 3+ years of success meeting and exceeding sales objectives/KPI’s provided by leadership
* Must have the capability to close complicated deals and multi-year deals from discovering sales opportunities to contract completion.
* Must be able to up-sell strategic / custom solution to a strategic account as well as penetrating and closing strategic targets.
* Must have a business and results-oriented mindset, excellent inter-personal skills.
* You must be customer-oriented and a natural leader.
* Previous experience building key customer relationships in the local market Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* A background working in a technical role is highly preferred
* Use of SalesForce or similar CRM tool for opportunity, lead and forecast management
