Reporting to the Sr. VP of Sales, Regional Sales Director (West) is responsible for sales effectiveness and productivity of assigned Region. Responsibilities include sales team management, planning, quota management, and effective sales processes for assigned Region.
Responsibilities:
? Responsible for regional sales objectives to be met in a timely fashion
? Responsible for new business generation within Region and to support and grow existing business in Region
? Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific sales targets and to ensure opportunity pipeline is sufficient to meet and/or exceed sales targets
? Prepare presentations to customers, sales staff and management
? Participate in trade shows and conventions when necessary
? Responsible to maintain a strong capture management focus
? Responsible for managing a team of Regional Sales Managers
?Position Requirements:
? Must be a US citizen and able to pass a drug test and DMV and background check
? 10 years outside sales experience, including new account/new customer development and selling in a technical environment related to industries NTS services, with a demonstrated record of success. Test lab experience is required.
? A BS degree is desired but not required
? Must have demonstrated success in managing a sales team
? Should possess a strong team orientation
? Must have excellent presentation skills (verbal and written)
? Must have excellent communication as well as interpersonal skills
? Should have a strong technical acumen
