The Regional Product Marketing Manager will aggressively drive new product adoption with strategic customer targets and end markets by supporting sales reps, channels and customers through training, communication, mentorship, pipeline/testing support as well as interfacing with Global Product Management to ensure the right marketing mix & collateral is deployed.
The role will have major influence on new product development & adoption by gaining deep market insights and influencing sales leaders and customers across a variety of channels.
Key Job Responsibilities Deploy strategy ensuring field sales is focused on the right segments, accounts, products, and channels.
Help sales locate and target new accounts locally based on business/brand strategy & local market knowledge.
Analyze local markets to identify large strategic accounts that may not be reached by KMT/WIDIA.
Identify target accounts locally based on segmentation and strategic priorities.
Drive alignment of Marketing & Sales ensuring the right marketing mix and content is directed to the right customers.
Prepare and drive new product launch activities, drive new product ideas into ACE/Stage-Gate and contribute to their success.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities related to products and capabilities locally within the Market diagnosing common failure points supporting PLCO.
Provide market intelligence, KMT SWOT, customer needs for strategy, and product development including white space.
Push new products (PLCO) and awareness campaigns within the Sales team and Distributor Sales team.
Drive clarity of what marketing, & technical, materials are available, how sales should position material, and how reps should follow up after presenting material.
Drive brand, product awareness through on-site, face-to-face interaction with consumers.
Conduct customer trainings emphasizing how to optimize processes and operations with new products as well as develop custom content that can quickly address a specific need for a large opportunity or strategic account/prospect.
Support sales technically on large and strategic opportunities by being a resource and coordinating other company resources Communicate, train and mentor reps on how to sell and apply products.
Build relationships internally and work with key stakeholders and leaders in product management, sales, and customer service Minimum Level of Education (for Job): Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or other related discipline required Years of Relevant Work Experience Required: 5-8 Year 5-8 years of aerospace manufacturing experience Highly experienced in CFRP cutting application, preferably at large aerospace OEM’s and/or tiers.
5 years of B2B product marketing experience a plus Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Positive, energetic attitude, with strong work ethic
