Currently have 34 senior living facilities (with the vast majority in Iowa, followed by Minnesota).
Given our continued growth, development, and restructuring to best align with business needs, we have the opportunity to welcome a Regional Maintenance Director to our team.
Our Regional Maintenance Director will support 10-11 senior living communities.
Majority of the communities are located in Minnesota (Karlstad, Sauk Rapids, Waite Park, Tracy, Grand Meadow, Mabel), with the addition of a few locations in northern Iowa (Spirit Lakes, Milford, Bancroft) .
You would predominantly work in the field with occasional opportunities to work remote from your home office.
The position involves frequent travel with some overnights required, especially given the distance traveled for this specific region.
While majority of the locations are grouped together, in relatively close proximity and reasonable commute, we do have an outlier, with one of our locations far north in Minnesota.
Given the frequent travel, a vehicle is included as part of the compensation package for this role.
The Regional Maintenance Director will be responsible promoting our most important priorities: ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, providing facility support, coaching team members on environmental and life safety guidelines and complying with and upholding Accura HealthCare policies and procedures.Job Summary: The Regional Maintenance Director provides hands-on support for all aspects of facility plant operations including, but not limited to: renovations, safety, capital improvements, facility maintenance, regulatory compliance, and troubleshooting, This individual will organize and assist with project planning and execution and serve as a resource to facility maintenance directors and administrators on items related to facility maintenance, performing regular facility visits to ensure regulatory compliance.
This position requires extensive knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements as they relate to healthcare facilities management, safety, plant maintenance, and construction/renovations along with a high degree of customer service, superior communication skills, and the ability to work independently while producing and reporting results with a sense of urgency.
A high degree of integrity is required along with extensive knowledge of physical plant operations and maintenance and an understanding of budgetary standards related to projects, repairs, etc.
This position requires extensive travel with some overnights required.

Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
5 years of experience in healthcare facility maintenance, handling the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing and structural matters is required.
Experience in dry wall, tile, stone, concrete, HVAC, flooring, and roofing is a huge plus.
Experience in a healthcare environment required; Long-term care experience preferred.
Knowledge of building construction is helpful.
Experience supervising and managing staff preferred.
Knowledge of Environmental Services is highly desired.
Ability to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
Prior experience with TELS preferred.
Able to be flexible, adapt and respond to change, make decisions in stressful situations and prioritize tasks and projects.
