Role Summary:

The VW Region Sales Operations Manager role will be the main liaison between brand regional teams, VCI regional sales teams and corporate brand sales operation to grow profitability of VCI while assisting brand’s and VCI in achieving their KPI’s.

Achieving objectives will be accomplished through the development and implementation of initiatives that drive improved sales performance and brand performance through leveraging corporate brand operations, VCI/brand regional teams, VWFSPS and commercial/retail lending teams as directed by the Director
– Brand Business Operations and Sr.

Director, Regional Sales.

Role Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities – 90% of time spent
Represents VCI/AFS to the VW/Audi brand, interacting frequently with the VW/Audi Regional VP and regional management teams in the presentation and ‘sale’ of programs.

Represents VCI/AFS within the regional offices of Audi of America/VW of America sales unit, lending financial services expertise to VW/Audi brand initiatives to collaborate on development and execution of programs.

Collaborates with field, regions, brand & corporate departments, in designing, developing selling incentive programs (MPRs) to generate dealer engagement while optimizing financial results.

Ensure legal compliance for all initiatives.

Supports the VW/Audi brand experience within VCI/AFS and influences the quality of the VCI/AFS experience to both dealers and end-consumers.

Supports achievement of VCI/AFS revenue and profitability goals while helping brand regions reach their sales objectives through the use of retail and lease products.

Supports VCI/AFS Sub-committee and/or Regional Dealer Advisory Council (RDAC).

Supports committee/advisory meetings with ad-hoc reporting, issue surfacing and resolution, and ongoing process improvement.

Supports Audi/VW brands regional teams by helping to strategize & develop retail and lease products, programs & promotions.

Support negotiation of subvention requirements to optimize financial results.

Support effective communication of all regional and national retail programs to the dealer body & ensure solid customer communication through supporting integrated activities with the field and other internal departments.

Regularly present thoroughly constructed proposals for approval, and post-program analysis/results to internal stakeholders Acts as an advisor and resource to VCI/AFS Sales Regions by assisting in development of regional and local programs as they relate to attainment of sales goals.

Maintain regional annual program budgets (volume/cost), and monthly and annual forecasts Ensure dealer & corporate communication relating to VCI/AFS national/regional programs are in place & the regional business is cross-functionally aligned & integrated with programs.

Pro-actively collaborate/support on the design, develop, and implement sales programs for all retail, lease, and wholesale offerings with measurable results.

Develop a unique packaging approach for regional financial services offerings in the dealer channel to create and sustain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Supports dealer satisfaction efforts through an ongoing focus on dealer behavior and preferences in the development, delivery, and promotion of VCI/VWFSPS financial products.

Supports optimal design, pricing, and communications of regional financial products to meet volume and profit targets.

Regularly present thoroughly constructed proposals for approval, and post-program analysis/results to internal stakeholders Additional responsibilities – 10% of time Supports Herndon based Brand Director – Sales Operations in specific region based market analytics and reporting.

Experience:
Required –
10+ years of professional experience 7+ years of experience in automotive financial services, automotive or related captive finance field Prior direct automotive dealer contact sales experience in a captive finance field Desired – 2+ years automotive brand experience Education:
Required –
