QA Director

Boundless Entertainment, the makers of Marvel Strike Force and Avatar: Pandora Rising are seeking a Studio QA Director to head the Quality Assurance department in our studio.

You will lead the QA group within our division to new standards of quality in areas of feature development, test automation, release management, live operations, LQA, and outsource management.

You will guide the QA staff to become Subject Matter Experts (SME) in their areas and share their expertise across pods and game teams.

You will work closely with development teams within the studio, studio leadership and QA leadership across the Scopely family of studios.

Qualified candidates will foster entrepreneurship to challenge what’s next, be self-starters, able to multi-task, be dependable, and have concise communication.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent 10+ years experience in QA 7+ years experience as QA manager Quality Management: Planning, Assurance, Control, and Improvement Track record of improving Product Development Pipelines and Workflows Experience working with remote QA testing team leadership.

Strong ability to balance multiple responsibilities including leading/mentoring a team, while proactively troubleshooting and managing project timelines Strong communication skills
– able to communicate team and project goals in a clear, concise, and strategic manner Ability to communicate technical issues in a manner easily understood by all stakeholders Top notch problem-solving skills
– able to work through complex problems Strategic goal setting, tactical execution.

You’ve managed budgets and headcount for a team or teams, including hardware and software procurement.

You’ve grown a culture of quality across large organizations.

You understand the metrics that influence strategy and create change.

Contract negotiation with vendors and RFP reviews Mobile, and console experience Experience working in a Games As A Service (GaaS) environment Tools and Automation development Experience planning and presenting reports to product leadership and senior management
