Property Manager

Treehouse is searching for an experienced property manager who can help us thrive.

The ideal candidate should be a reliable customer service specialist with 3+ years of prior property management experience.

In addition to managing the day-day operations of the building, the property manager is responsible for negotiating lease contracts, enforcing rental agreements, overseeing maintenance, and attending management team meetings.

The candidate will interface directly with the company’s management team, tenants, and third-party vendors.

General Responsibilities:
Overseeing & managing Move-in, Renewals, and Move-Out Inspection process Collecting rent and other property fees from tenants and individual owners Managing & Supervise third-party vendors conducting maintenance or improvements in the building Manage property Inventory Reporting the property’s financial status, occupancy, and expiring leases to property owners Meeting potential tenants, showing them the property, and assessing their applications in accordance with anti-discrimination laws Inspecting properties and arranging for repairs and new materials as required Arranging contracts for maintenance, trash removal, landscaping, security, and other ongoing services and managing disputes with these service providers where appropriate Investigating and resolving property complaints and lease violations Understanding and maintaining building systems in order to competently prepare specifications and source bids on large maintenance projects and service agreements

Qualifications / Base Skillset:
3+ years of property management experience (preferably residential or hospitality) Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions.

Scheduling and negotiation with service vendors Highly developed interpersonal and professional communication skills (written, verbal) Time management and organizational skills Experience with budgets and scheduling Experience with ordering, tracking, and organizing inventory Well-versed in navigating property management software platforms (e.g., Yardi, Negotiatus, Divvy, etc.) Ability to consistently set, manage and meet goals and deadlines.
