Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Design and execute health economic and outcomes research studies including economic modelling (e.g., cost effectiveness analysis, budgetary impact model, etc) and retrospective database studies
- Design search strategies to retrieve relevant evidence from the scientific literature
- Draft and review technical reports (modelling and RWE studies) & HEOR abstracts/manuscripts, systematic literature review/meta-analysis reports, value dossiers and other HEOR deliverables
- Proactively and independently contribute to research planning process and resolution of complex issues
- Prepares technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing expertise in HEOR/RWE through publications and presentations of scientific research.
- Advanced expertise in HEOR/RWE through ongoing training, competitor monitoring, sharing best practice and appropriate use of consultants.
Required Skills And Capabilities
- A minimum of 3+ years of HEOR in depth specialist knowledge and experience at an international level including database analysis and economic modelling in a healthcare consulting organization or a life science company
- Problem solving capability
- Well-developed conceptual thinking with capability to access internal and external resources for advice.
- Proactive application of therapeutic area and disease treatment knowledge
- Able to implement projects including key stakeholders with high degree of autonomy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and experience in performing inferential statistics including ML/AL
- Working knowledge of Python, R, Visual Basic, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Educational background
- Bachelor’s degree in clinical, biological, or social sciences
- Master’s degree in relevant field (outcomes research, health services research, epidemiology, health economics, health policy or related fields)
- Doctoral degree in relevant field preferred
