Senior Project Managers might be interested in joining this existing team to work onsite with our local client. This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Los Angeles, California area. We are seeking candidates for a Senior Project Manager position, which will manage key projects as part of our client’s strategic business plan. This position must ensure that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders, because it serves as a key member of the team. Another requirement for this position is to be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. What you get to do every day

– Leads project planning

– Assure that the functional requirements are met, achievable, and tracked

– Advances to manage, identify, and classify risk for functional improvement requests

– Provides the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

– Shall cooperate closely with the QA Manager, Product Specialist, Product Owner/Product Manager, and Business Analyst

– Enhances the daily stand-ups, making sure they are brief, focused, and timely

– Present detailed reporting to management on risk assessment, project status, and milestone completion

– Acts as Scrum Master for the developers on the team – ensuring the team is working effectively, clearing obstacles, and leading scrum ceremonies

– Participate to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap with the Product Owner/Product Manager

– Comes together with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

– Closely cooperating and communicates with stakeholders,technical team members, developers, and designers

– Help to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

– Arranges project with precise ticket workflows and boards

– Executes deployment scheduling in coordination with Dev Ops, tech lead, and Product Owner

– Rallies details from QA leads, business analysts, and technical leads into testimonials

– Indexes and executes the sprint planning and grooming meetings and traces ticket assignments

– Sets out schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product

– Watches and schedules projects – as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

– Jointly acts with Product Owner/Product Manager to warrant that the product vision and high-level business objectives are definite and viable

– Lead the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

Job Requirements:
– Comprehensive knowledge of navigating basic office equipment and protocols

– Candidates with proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools will be the best fit for this position

– Applicants with experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs are preferred

– Applicants should have a Project Management (PMP) certification

– Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

– Candidates who are flexible and focused will be preferred

– Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

– You’re sure to succeed in this position if you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies

– Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

– Excellent communication and organizational skills

– Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures

– Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability, strong operation and project management skills

– Can work independently with minimal supervision

– Excellent problem-solving skills
