Project Manager – EmotionalDNA

Magid is seeking someone who has a passion for overseeing all aspects of projects as the lead Project Manager for our flagship product
– EmotionalDNA (eDNA).

This person will own coordinating the completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope through setting and meeting deadlines, assigning responsibilities and monitoring and summarizing project progress.

This person will also provide Product Management through planning eDNA’s evolution and innovating new features.

This combination of strong Project Management skills to refine the product with experience in developing a Product Roadmap for future product enhancements will keep the product running smoothly and evolving to meet client needs The Project Manager will be located in our Los Angeles office and will be a key leader in the growth and evolution of EmotionalDNA, working closely with our sales, marketing, and research teams, understanding our clients/ prospects and reporting to the CPO.

The successful applicant will have a curiosity for the research and strategy sector, and knowledge of the entertainment and media sector.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Review user stats to help drive refinements and enhancements to the interface Manage Jira Ensure resource availability and allocation Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Report and escalate to management as needed Perform risk management to minimize project risks Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Delegate project tasks based on individual’s strengths, skill sets and experience levels Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs Work with the CPO to adapt and revise ever changing Product plan You should describe yourself as: An adept communicator who can manage the expectations of internal stakeholders as well as customers.

You need to be able to prioritize and explain why with evidence and diplomatic framing.

A team player who can manage relationships from diverse teams and who can facilitate an environment of productive collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications 3-5 years proven working experience in Project Management 1-2 years Product Management experience 2-3 years managing people Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Experience with best practice agile scrum development and lean startup principles.

Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
