Project Manager – Battery Management System

is looking for a Project manager that will participate in the definition and implementation of multiple commercial electric vehicle platforms supporting the BMS Team.

The person should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and relish the idea of solving problems that haven’t been solved at scale before.

The Project manager will be the liaison and the glue between the manufacturing, mechanicals, hardware and software for the battery management system for the team to meet the production deadline and will also work with outside test facilities to coordinate testing and services to launch the product fastern n Requirementsn Bachelor’s degree / Master Degree in engineering/technology field or related work experience (MBA with an Engineering degree a plus) 4+ years automotive experience in program management Knowledge of Auto industry procedures and processes (PPAP, DFMEA, V-Cycle, DVP&R, AECQ100, etc…) Good knowledge of program management process and vehicle development timeline tools (e.g.

Timesheets / Microsoft Project) Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal Ability to lead the project from the ideation phase to full production and understanding what are the requirements for each gate.

n n Duties And Responsibilitiesn She/ He will be responsible for the requirements tracking, and work on test plans with different stakeholders within the organization Technical Project Management of in-house development of BMS / PES.

Continuous and prompt communication of status and actions to the Product Delivery team to speed up implementation for the success of the product.

Manage the timing plan and tracking all action items for full resolutions Detailed Management of BMS/component timelines from concept to delivery Work with supply chain and engineering for the BOMs to be released and sourced Align with supply and engineering on the right component to be sourced Tracking of component sourcing and component status Help Manage project budgets internally and externally Track, Report, Coordinate the Design Validation and Process Validation activities Track issues from inception to resolution Interfacing internally with Cross-Functional team n n Benefitsn Xos, Inc.
