Project Manager at a Growing Project Management Firm

Our client, a growing national project management firm that specializes in construction and commercial design, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Seattle Headquarters.

This position will be focused on their commercial office accounts and tenant improvement projects.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of related experience in project management, construction, facilities or architecture and has the drive to help in the growth and leadership of an innovative and successful team.

ABOUT THE ROLE Oversee a team of designers to ensure that ancillary furniture systems are delivered and installed according to allotted timelines Maintain clear channels of communication with clients in order to define project goals and give status reports Act as the liaison between the firm and client in accordance with the companys high standards for customer service and professionalism Manage all facets of project management including design and test fit drawings, building and site requirements, schedules, procurement, quality and risk, and vendor performance for individual MAC and special projects Track each project from inception to completion by identifying resources, planning the budget, setting the scope and schedule, and conducting onsite field audits throughout the process Read and understand all project documentation including: agreements/contracts, drawings, client work requests, vendor proposals, electrical and data documents and building infrastructure documents Identify key stakeholders and address all inquiries, work requests and concerns Have a complete understanding of vendor processes and deliverables Responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, organizing meetings and tracking all issues and resolutions Aid in proposals and bid analysis to support the business development team Build and maintain relationships with the real estate community and take an active role in local networking organizations ABOUT YOU BA or BS from a top-tier university 5 years of related experience LEED Green Associate or AP certification a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Project and Visio Able to inspect design plans and documents for accuracy Able to lift up to 25 lbs, safely access construction sites and roofs, ascend/descend a ladder, work in outdoor weather conditions and move between buildings for over 50% of the day Job Type: Full-time Experience: project management: 5 years (Required) Education: Bachelor’s (Required) Location: Seattle, WA (Required) by Jobble
