Hello! Foundation to Roof, Inc. is a licensed construction company that has been building and remodeling residential homes and projects throughout Los Angeles County since 1999. We are currently overwhelmed with work, and we are looking to bring on a new Project Manager (or two) for the sake of expansion.
The role:
When hired, the project manager will spend the first few weeks shadowing the contractor to understand the business and the projects involved. The role is intended to be a second set of eyes on the project sites so that the contractor does not have to be 100% present throughout construction. The project manager will be assigned mostly to new projects from there initation. We have projects throughout LA county, but we will try and keep projects per project manager clustered in similar areas.
Responsibilities:
- Visit the project sites daily or bi-daily and report back the contractor
- Coordinate crews and make sure the project is moving smoothly
- Manage easier inspections, project manager will learn
- Coordinate with the architect for revisions and pulling permits
- Understand the project scope of work and follow the contract to make sure all elements are being fulfilled
- Order supplies, material and fixtures for each project in assistance to the contractor
Compensation:
Will be determined based on an hourly base wage with an additional commission to be discussed and determined per project. If projects move and are completed at a faster rate than originally discussed, bonus commission will be granted, per agreement between contractor and project manager.
Any and all other questions will be discussed over the interview. Be aware that the position requires lots of driving throughout Los Angeles. No construction experience is required. Please feel free to reach out with any questions prior to meeting.
