JOB DESCRIPTION: 

As Project Manager, (Global Channel Marketing), you will coordinate and facilitate the operational and administrative needs of the group, directly supporting the Partner and 1st Party Channel Marketing departments to maximize the impact of Riot Games’ partner relationships and deliver mutual value across channels. This role will be responsible for managing all operational aspects to support the Global Channel Marketing group to support successful and timely delivery of campaigns. You will organize and manage project plans, identify and remove blockers, facilitate effective communications and meetings, and be willing to jump in wherever needed to move things forward. You’ll also identify lightweight operational processes and frameworks that can help support the needs of the group with a focus on flexibility, adoption, and alignment with our company culture. You’ll work to support the needs of Partners through offloading workload, and identifying solutions to inefficient and ineffective workflows.

Your collaboration skills will bring Riot results through increased efficiency and value delivery. Your top-notch organizational skills will ensure that the projects are completed in a way that is beneficial and successful to Riot and it’s priority partners alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project workflow with cross functional teams by planning, tracking, managing and driving all steps in the partner campaign life cycle.
  • Orchestrate connectivity and alignment across teams for each partner marketing campaign from kickoff to completion. Assess project parameters, priority scheduling, and creation of all deliverables against established deadlines and creative strategies.

  • Responsible for maintaining schedules, tracking deliverables, defining processes, and recapping results. Includes partner marketing product integration and co-marketing delivery timelines.

  • Lead clear and frequent communication of timelines, status updates, internal meetings, prioritization of work and potential risks to our internal marketing teams.

  • Report detailed status of all executional plans at regular intervals, escalating urgent issues in a timely manner, and proactively sharing executional status and program updates as appropriate.

  • Identify issues early and suggest workable solutions, weaknesses in current systems, processes and tools and work to improve them. Drive agendas and cross-functional communication.

  • Create and manage integrated work back schedules for all partner campaigns and strategic initiatives. Includes creative deliverables, marketing plans, content publishing calendars, and delivery of assets for partners to produce and publish.

  • Work closely with Global Channel Marketing counterparts to ensure all paid media & marketing deadlines and tactics deliver on time, while achieving the marketing objectives unique to each placement.

  • Provide operational guidance around worldwide launches, betas, and soft-launches.

Qualifications Required:

  • 5 years experience in marketing and/or communications, with hands-on experience in partner marketing management
  • A track record of success managing workflows and project timelines with partners and navigating multi-partner partnerships

  • Experience in producing integrated marketing programs that include partner co-marketing

  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams on complex projects with significant stakeholder alignment from ideation to execution.

  • Exceptional organizational and problem solving skill set. Strong orientation on effectiveness and long-term success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working and collaborating within a global organization and structure
  • Culturally present and aware of player, entertainment and marketing trends globally

  • Direct experience working in gaming or entertainment a plus
