Arcadis seeks a Project Controls Manager to join the team in Los Angeles to support project administration activities under the supervision of the Project Manager, Contract Administrator, and Project team for a highway construction project including support of change control procedures, pay application processing, and coordination with interfacing departments among other contract administration tasks as assigned.

Role description:
This on-site supervisory position is directly responsible for administration of construction contracts and reviews the work of contractors, and third parties in accordance with the terms and conditions of applicable contracts and documents. The CMs will be responsible for on-site construction management activities and will be the primary point of contact with the contractor during the construction phase. The CM will review progress of the work to assure compliance with the contract documents. The CM assure appropriate measurement and payments are made as necessary, and all project documentation is completed in accordance with policies and procedures. Additionally, the CM is responsible to pro-actively review the contract documents to anticipate, identify, and/or assist with preparing any change orders needed to resolve conflicts and/or recommend improvements.
Role Accountabilities:
- Manages project control activities and resources in engineering and construction through all capital project lifecycle phases on Metro capital projects.
- Oversees all cost estimating, budgeting, cost management and control, scheduling, configuration management, and management information system and reporting activities within a rail or bus construction unit.
- Establishes, maintains, implements, and audits cost and schedule management activities for all departmental Construction projects to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and plans.
- Reviews, analyzes, and interprets project design and construction budgets, schedules, and costs to ensure conformance with authorized scope, time, and dollar requirements.
- Reviews, analyzes, and monitors actual project performance related to cost and schedule management activities.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a lead or senior-level project control specialist for heavy civil or multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, business, or other related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AACE International certification.
- Master’s degree in related field.

We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on the start, and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $109000 – $156000.
