Location; Atlanta, GA or Pittsburgh, PA or Cincinnati, OH Clearance: Public Trust Program Service Manager to work with a small team responsible for building, deploying, and supporting a Big Data solution that will enable operations for a large enterprise environment.
Typical duties will include the following: Work with program leadership to assist with changes to existing processes for delivery of data, such as contract deliverables, to streamline the process for data ingestion reducing the periodicity of data available for analysis Facilitate rapid integration with the team to support emerging requirements Design and implement systems-level database architectures and interfaces Conceive complex database structures in big data and data warehouse environments Ensure day-to-day operations of the environment Job Requirements: Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience 8 years of experience as an information systems project manager after receiving degree with specialization in data analytics projects 5 years of experience leading project management teams Expert knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies Expert knowledge of data ingestion, data warehouse, big data, data analytics, and business intelligence technology and methods Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills Hands-on project management experience on at least seven data integration and data analytics projects Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles (e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation) and the correct project application Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines Familiarity with engineering & operating a virtualized scientific application environment supporting diverse lab and field research programs Team leadership & staff management skills orchestrating a dynamic mix of dedicated contractors and specialized vendor SMEs Process development and management experience supporting secure, regulated operational environments.
Ability to lead customer service and satisfaction efforts and culture within organization.
Preferred Skills Has active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines Knowledge of the industry project management best practices (i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge-PMBOK) Expert knowledge of data frameworks, curation, analytics, and current programming languages/tools Demonstrated experience with project management tools such as MS Project Functional knowledge of reliability, maintenance, supportability, and logistics disciplines in military or commercial sectors Ability to interact effectively with senior command-level customers ABBTECH is an EOE/Minorities/Women/Disabled Individuals/Veterans
