PROGRAM MANAGER of Residential & Day Habilitation Starting at $21.00/hour (additional credit for experience) Duties & Responsibilities: The Program Manager is responsible for overall functioning and oversight of assigned Residence(s) and Core Room(s).
This position’s specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the subsequent items and are characterized in the following standards of performance, defined as below: Job Knowledge Conduct clinical and administrative reviews of Habilitation Plans, monthly notes and Medicaid billing to ensure that the plans meet agency and regulatory requirements Ensure that health and safety measures and personal outcome desires of individuals are met and supported by staff Responsible for the overall supervision of assigned departmental staff including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluation and termination of staff in accordance with agency employee policies and practices Review and/or approve staff time cards, time sheets, leave requests and overtime Schedule, assign and maintain adequate staff coverage in assigned residence and core room.
Assist with and participate in client intake process Perform/participate in assessments and plan of service development Submit maintenance requests for needed repairs Serve as on-call back up for coverage and/or emergencies.
Serve on 24-hour Program Manager On-Call rotation Conduct meetings with individuals supported as required and/or necessary Conduct and/or participate in case conference with members of an individual’s Program Planning Team, as needed SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Possess good analytical, interpersonal, written, oral and communication abilities and effective time management/organizational skills.
Able to work scheduled hours that may include overtime, weekend and/or holiday timeframes and maintain acceptable work attendance a defined in the agency’s personnel policy manual and handbook.
Be computer literate with knowledge in agency operating systems and applicable software required for departmental needs.
Able to generate and present comprehensive written reports and respond to questions about the report Demonstrate sound judgment in normal work and emergency situations Must physically be able to perform required certifications and lift fifty (50) pounds Possess a valid driver’s license acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier guidelines QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service area plus 3 years of experience -OR
