WHAT YOU WILL DO

Our client, Canopy Growth, is seeking to build relationships within the CBD market in the US. Reporting to the Account Director, the Program Manager will lead the account service and field sales support nationwide and is an integral role in the execution of sales execution and retail marketing programs. Supervising Retail Development Managers assigned to (7) specific territories, the PM will develop, lead and monitor all strategic initiatives, budgets, goals and KPIs in cooperation with client and management. In addition, the PM will participate in client development, staff development, quality assurance and building long-term client relationships. This role is the leading member of the program focused on Quatreau, Martha Stuart, and Whistl CBD brands on behalf of the client.

  • Work with client leadership leading strategy on all sales objectives and develop KPIs
  • Ensure RDMs are meeting KPIs to achieve national program goals
  • Recruit, train and manage all RDMs with support of Account Director
  • Communicate with Sales Organization to arrange sales & merchandising materials needed
  • Work closely with local distributor networks to engage and grow the Canopy Growth CBD brands
  • Address RDMs turnover as needed
  • Host biweekly check-ins with each RDM individually
  • Manage RDMs and timelines for program expansion
  • Provide sales strategy POV based on local market insights
  • QA Market Checks
  • Write biweekly & monthly reports for Sales and Brand Teams
  • Host monthly call with Account Director and Sales Team
  • Approve expenses and manage overall program budgets
  • Manage informational requests and recap key takeaways for upper Management
  • Travel to assigned market

WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10 years’ related industry or sales experience
  • Strong understanding of the 3 tier system
  • Travel up to 50%
  • Knowledge of CBD or cannabis distribution industry preferred
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate efforts with retail personnel, 3rd parties and client.
  • Familiarity with local market trendsetting accounts
