Overview: Our Client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, has an immediate need for a Program Manager.
The position is located in Pittsburgh, PA and is hybrid (M/W/TH onsite, T/F WFH).
This is a 9
– 12 month contractwith possibility of an extension.
Ideal candidates must have 10 years of experience in IT and 5-7 years of experience as a Project/Program Manager.
Responsibilities: Program Manager, CMMC, is an overall, end-to-end manager in charge of the CMMC program, from shaping the approach to achieve the desired outcomes through to delivery.
The position involves:Coordinating projects and resource management within the programStakeholder and sponsor communicationsReportingProgram financial managementKnowledge of Compliance/Regulatory Programs, including CMMCKnowledge of the importance of Cyber Security and basic Cyber Security terminologyPrimary Responsibilities include:Guides the development of the overall approach for the program, its major time frames and the definition of its major deliverables to address and meet the desired goals and outcomes.Partners with the Steering Committee and sponsors to communicate program goals, objectives and potential outcomes.Establishes and ensures appropriate governance functions for the program in accordance with the Client’s IT PMO policies and practicesDirects the creation and maintenance of the required program documentation and artifacts.Monitors the program budget, and manages expenditure within agreed spending plans.Ensures and balances the availability of the required skills and competencies across project teams within the program.Leads reviews with the stakeholders to identify specific program needs and changes, and directs the development of appropriate approaches to address.Leads the development and maintenance of stakeholder mapping, communications and reporting.Acts as an advisor, and builds and maintains relationships across the wider stakeholder community.Leads the oversight of program projects execution, their progress compared with the plan and the production of agreed deliverables.Monitors and coordinates dependencies across the projects in the program, and resolves conflicts.Supports and facilitates agenda setting for program committee/board meetings.
Qualifications: Technical Skills:10 or more years of experience in IT business/industryFive to seven years in diverse roles with increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programsExperience managing projects for an international organization and juggling multiple projects at a timeExperience presenting to exec level management to force a decisionDemonstrated experience in leading diverse matrixed teamsExperience leading Compliance/Regulatory Programs (ex.
GDPR, CMMC, NIST, DFR)Understanding of current and emerging technologiesEducation:A bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience
