Role:

As a Senior Manager of Employee Productivity, you will lead a team responsible for all corporate productivity and collaboration systems and platforms. Your team will be authoritative for cloud platforms like G Suite, Atlassian, and Slack, through which you’ll drive adoption and enablement in order to keep all of our Splunkers working collaboratively and productively.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow a team of Collaboration and Productivity engineers.
  • Own and deliver Collaboration and Productivity platform and services roadmap in collaboration with IT Leadership and security teams.
  • Technically mentor a team of Collaboration experts including 1 manager, and grow career paths.
  • Research and assesses current available technologies to meet needs that define technical specifications, design infrastructure, and conduct detailed evaluations
  • Be the resource to define and lead / manage Collaboration and Productivity related tasks or projects
  • Maintain key operational metrics and provide regular updates to upper management

Requirements: I’ve already done that.

  • 5+ years of direct management experience of highly technical engineers. Experience directly managing teams of 8-10 people with demonstrable team and product success.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a culture of team building and people management.
  • 8+ years of IT experience and 3+ years of experience in the Collaboration and Productivity Tools space
  • Validated technical knowledge of managing large collaboration and productivity solutions including Google Workspaces, Atlassian, and MS0365
  • Have demonstrated experience driving adoption into technology solutions.
  • Experience working in an Agile (Scum/Kanban) environment
  • Deep understanding of common productivity / business workflows and automation/integration manual tasks
  • Experience working with internal auditors and advanced knowledge of common security standards (ISO/IEC 27001, SOC1, SOC2, HIPPA, NIST)
  • You have strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills and willingness to present on a variety of functional or technical topics to broad audiences.
  • Experience working with REST APIs
  • Large $10M+ Budget management including Forecasting, and planning License spend
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Focused and can work with minimal direction
  • You have the desire to learn and apply new technologies.
  • You self-train quickly and pick up new critical skills

It’s phenomenal if you also have:

  • Automation experience
  • Knowledge of administering Splunk products
