Production Supervisor

2nd shift schedule
Responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution Processing Operations.

The production supervisor will manage all processing employees to ensure a productive, clean, and safe environment at all times.

All warehouse and production employees are responsible for participating in tasks designed to maintain the efficiency, safety, cleanliness of our facility and enhance our customer service.

Essential Functions

– Ability to manage processing operations and processing employees to ensure all production responsibilities are conducted properly and that the company is performing efficiently and safely.

– Ability to manage processing orders and ensure that orders are being processed per order specifications.

– Continuously monitor quality of products and ensure food safety standards are being met.

– Oversee the operation of all processing equipment; band saws, slicers, dicers, tumblers, vacuum machines, tapers, stuffer, and all other equipment as needed.

– Verify that all processing equipment is being maintained and used properly.

– Enforce that employees never operate equipment that they have not been properly trained to operate

– Enforce all company safety protocols and policies at all times and report any safety concerns immediately to production manager, plant manager or owners.

– Monitor employee performances and report updates on employees that are not performing up to company standards as well as employees that are performing above expectations.

– Report all HR matters immediately to the HR manager and owners (Glen Rose, Jason Rose, Kevin Rose).

– Report all injuries or safety concerns immediately to production manager, plant manager and owners.

– Manage and enforce employee Hygiene Standard, GMP’s and SSOP’s and quality control procedures.

– Ensure that all production reports and forms are completed properly and turned as required.

These reports include but are not limited too; all HACCP documents, pre-operational and daily inspection, SSOP forms, safety inspection, equipment inspection, et al.

– Ensure that our production facility is compliant with the USDA and FSIS at all times and that all regulations are being followed.

– Ensure that cleaning schedules and procedures are completed and that they meet required food safety standards.

– Maintain and clean all areas of the warehouse facility, including employee common areas, and ensure working conditions are safe at all times.

– Monitor and clean ice build-up, condensation and product leakage, etc.

Ensure that floors and walls are clean at all times throughout the company facility.

– Work as a team; help out in any area needed to maintain an efficient flow of work, a customer friendly environment, and cooperative team environment.
