Production Manager

Full-time Salary/Exempt
Summary
The Production Manager will be focused on our private brands initiative based in Los Angeles.

This role will report to the Director of Product Development and will be responsible for all production goals; sourcing, costing, lead times, quality control.

An already established network of fabric mills, dye houses, trim resources, and cut & sew factories in and around the LA area is a must.

The ideal candidate will have in depth knowledge of the LA market and possess the hustle and drive to do “whatever it takes”.
Responsibilities
Manage production process from point of conception to finished product.

Negotiate all production costs and lead times; i.e.

fabric costs/lead times, cut & sew costs, etc.

to meet department goals & IMU targets.

Coordinate all logistics of fabric & trim shipments, and finished goods.

Input all production costs into Centric PLM and assist in final costing for all garments.

Visit LA factories on a weekly basis to ensure our quality standards are adhered to and we have continuity in our supply chain and flow of goods.

Ensure all factories are compliant with labor laws.

Document all chargebacks and negotiated cost savings on a PO basis.

Support the Director of Product Development in executing department goals, monitoring our sustainability initiative and all department objectives.

Develop and source trims and fabrics, and approve all lab dips, strike offs, etc.

Advise Director of Product Development on all factory capacities and create monthly performance reports for each factory.

Troubleshoot all quality issues on a fabric and garment level.

Qualifications
Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years in a production management role.

Excellent negotiation skills.

Must be bilingual English and Spanish Strong communication and organizational skills.

Detail and process oriented.

Meets deadlines and is able to prioritize appropriately.

Extremely proficient with Adobe Illustrator, PLM software, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, Word and Google productivity suite.

Extensive knit, denim, woven and activewear garment construction knowledge.

Education | Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant field

Travel | Some travel required.
