About the Position:
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategies necessary to generate market awareness and drive growth for the business.
Brand champion and advocate for product portfolio (value proposition, positioning, key messaging, personas, etc.) ensuring all go to market plans and initiatives align with the overall product strategies.
Stay up to date with audience behaviors, marketing innovations, and competitive landscape to guide go to marketing strategies to best position CRL and our products.
Create compelling product branding, positioning and messaging strategies to articulate the portfolio’s unique value proposition.
Identify and understand all target audiences.
Develop and refine the necessary personas to enable optimized marketing programs.
Create marketing materials and sales enablement tools (presentations, messaging guides, collateral, case studies, website content, infographics and more) to support branding and demand generation activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new product launch strategies to ensure commercial success.
Collaborate on the execution of digital marketing campaigns to build awareness and support demand generation.
Closely monitor key success metrics including customer acquisition effectiveness and win rates.
Continue to build industry and product knowledge by expanding industry network and strengthening cross-functional relationships.
Serve as a product, domain and market expert.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, develop, design, and implement marketing programs for assigned Product Categories.
Understand market position of competitors and define product positioning within the competitive landscape.
Manage the execution of marketing plans including, product promotion calendar, print & digital ads, product fliers/brochures, events / educational programs, marketing automation and website content.
Work with Product Management to plan, execute and track strategies to effectively and efficiently bring products to market, ensuring that positioning, messaging and go-to-marketing strategies are in alignment with product portfolio growth goals and objectives.
Maintains open, efficient communication between Product Design, Creative, Digital, and Communications teams on new product development and existing, on-going product promotions.
Works with Engineering and Product Management to gather, create and document technical product details including product information, test data, selling points and assets such as technical drawings, product renderings, installation guides, spec sheets, images, quote request forms, BIM/CAD files for Marketing Dept. Defines key features, selling points and product differentiators.
Gathers and manages technical data and marketing assets Partners closely with Copywriter to execute all written communication relating to product strategy, including product story, naming architecture, copy, and benefits and claims information Researches, monitors and tracks installation projects for case study development and editorial / photography opportunities.
