Product Manager (Technical)

Product Managers, at Spring Labs, are responsible for leading the development of strategy and vision for our products, while defining and managing the product roadmap and facilitating in-depth discussions, with stakeholders, to drive product clarity.

This is a customer interfacing role, therefore it requires a high level of collaboration, creative problem solving, and the ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of an organization.

What you’ll do

  • Be responsible for the end-to-end process, as well as the overall success and performance of the product
  • Manage prioritization, and trade offs, by balancing end user needs, product scope and time to market
  • Define, analyze and take action on metrics that measures product success
  • Create functional and technical specifications for the development teams
  • Maintain and groom product backlog
  • Perform validation, of product features, against product objectives and acceptance criteria
  • Manage product launches, both internally and externally
  • Actively work on product and process improvements that drive product and business value post launchLead, without authority, by building relationships within the organization
  • Leverage external networks to stay connected with technology and business trends.
  • Use knowledge to drive product innovation

About you

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, in an agile environment
  • 2+ years of experience in end to end product delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field
  • Financial Services experience is a plus
  • Ability to to use data and metrics to build a comprehensive business caseAdvanced technical aptitude, with the ability to contribute in discussions, with Engineering, in regards to technology decisions
  • Successful track record in end to end product delivery
  • Experience in data products involving Big Data, ML/AI, complex data pipeline, and APIs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and execute projects end to end, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, conflict resolution, communications and recommendations
  • Ability to conceptualize and effectively articulate to a variety of audiences
  • Strong, leadership presence, with exceptional presentation skills
  • Critical thinking, with balanced decision making
  • Experience in the Fintech industry is highly desirable
