Snap’s Augmented Reality team invents the immersive (and fun!) camera experiences that are at the core of our products.
From developing creative new Lens features for Snapchat, to supporting the continuous growth and evolution of Lens Studio (our platform for an ever-increasing community of AR creators), to designing the cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning technology that makes face transformation Lenses possible — our Augmented Reality team is working hard on their mission to bring AR to more people, places, and moments, every day.
We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Augmented Reality team!
What you’ll do:
Own Camera Platform’s roadmap for Lens discovery and use in Snapchat
Develop and prioritize strategies, product initiatives, and features to help evolve the way people understand and access AR, helping incubate and ultimately scale new AR use cases
Partner closely with Product Design, Engineering and cross functional stakeholders to transform new AR technologies into in-app products that drive top-line retention and growth
Be an AR platform thought leader translating the needs of the Lens developer ecosystem into products that connect developer experiences with Snap’s highly engaged AR audience
Analyze patterns and trends to expand the impact, utility and potential of Lenses
Create and thoroughly present go-forward recommendations, especially in front of senior leadership
Evangelize a scalable, platform approach to discovering and using AR products internally and externally
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Excellent communication skills and experience presenting complex topics to broad audiences
Ability to execute with limited oversight and guidance beyond high level objectives
Understanding of AR technologies, including computer vision and machine learning
Familiarity with UX mobile design best practices and principles
A team player who can collaborate with Engineers, Designers, and other functional leaders
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in a related analytical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or business or equivalent years of experience
4+ years of experience as a Product Manager for consumer mobile products
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on platform products and systems
Experience with data analysis, A/B testing frameworks, and statistics
A passion for Snapchat, AR and creativity!
