Product Development Manager

A dynamic and growing financial services company seeks a Product Development Manager for Los Angeles site to help the company keep track of current software development and integration projects, and to work with stakeholders to generate ideas for additional features and to see those projects through to completion.

Experience with FileMaker and Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities: 
Keep track of the status of current projects and manage those progress to completion.

Collaborate with Credit, Sales, Finance and other departments, as well as with customers and brokers and synthesize the information from these different stakeholders to determine new features to add.

Gather data pertaining to market trends and competition to come up with new features to add into our internal processes, as well as customer and broker facing processes.

Break these requirements into technical tasks and work with developers to implement those changes.

Create presentations based on feedback from various internal and external sources, market research and competitors to crystallize key new features to add and the estimated timeline and budget needed to do so.

Help company migrate from FileMaker to Salesforce.

Understand different points of view, including why someone may want a feature or how it will be used.

Build strong relationships across the company and with business partners to be able to communicate effectively.

Deal effectively with change.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 2 years of Product Development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with FileMaker and Salesforce  Communicate effectively across teams Excellent attention to detail Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Positive, energetic attitude Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proficient with technology
