We are a mid-sized SaaS company looking for a Principal Program Manager to join our fast growing, ambitious team!
We are a top provider of supply chain management, cloud-based solutions for the food industry.
We are looking for people who have been Program Managers on Professional Services engagements for s/w companies.
The Principal Program Manager can understand complex supply chains, supporting our Product Management teams by helping shape market and customer requirements into compelling product features.
The Principal Program Manager is also capable of collaborating with strategic customers, internal stakeholders, and industry analysts.
We are looking for someone who has been in Professional Services Program Management, not Technical Program Management.
What You Will Be Doing
Principal Program Managers are required to prepare and present formal reports for key stakeholders (internal and external).
This individual serves as an in-house leader and consultant, evaluating needs/scope/business rules, workflows, planning and directing implementation efforts.
Lead highly strategic cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives
Manage all stakeholder relationships and regularly communicate program statuses
Identify business development and new project/growth opportunities
Become an expert on all product/solutions offered by the company
Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation (scoping requirements, statement of work, project timelines, updates, issue tracking, etc.)
What You Need for this Position
Bachelors and/or Masters degree
8+ years of IT, product development, or program/project management experience
Solid knowledge of IT applications, infrastructure, and technology stacks
Strong expertise with project management software tools, methodologies and industry best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication
PMP is a plus
