The Platform Product Manager will work alongside product, engineering, and operational stakeholders to ensure the Fox digital streaming platform is well-designed and always on.

You will be responsible for supporting the work of multiple consumer-facing products and helping to improve and develop core platform features to enable the client product roadmap.

Additionally, you will define requirements for key APIs, manage vendor integrations, and manage internal tools.You have extensive experience in defining and driving technical features, with the ability to take the macro view when managing the platform roadmap.

This is a highly technical role, so you should be comfortable with Cloud infrastructure, tools, and technology.

You must be a self-motivated, team player partnering with various product managers, engineers, operators and cross-functional business units in the organization to contribute to the overall business objectives of the organization.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESCo-create, manage, and communicate a platform product roadmap with the Product Management team to prioritize supporting features across D2C and TVE apps, keeping your colleagues up to date on your top level goals, timelines, and progress.Partner and collaborate with engineering teams for sprint planning and manage expectations with other stakeholders (internal and external)Help lead the product development process from conception to implementationProduce detailed written specifications for featuresGather requirements to define minimum viable product and phasingPerform thorough user acceptance testing with strong attention to detail and performanceParticipate and/or lead platform product brainstorming sessionsStay current on digital development practices and the technology industryWHAT YOU WILL NEED1-3 years of full-time digital product management experienceExperience writing technical product specifications for development teamsExperience contributing to product roadmaps and backlogsExperience working on video streaming apps and has a strong understanding of industry best practicesSolid understanding of digital analytics, data analysis and the research processUnderstanding of Cloud computing concepts and best practicesStrong technical skills, either as a developer or technical product managerStrong technical acumen with an ability to learn new technical concepts quicklyComfortable with giving and receiving candid feedbackGood communication skills (both written and verbal) with varied audiencesExcellent critical thinking skills for future thinking and planningAbility to inspire, motivate and leadAbility to communicate well, in both small and large groupsAbility to articulate a clear vision and direction for the productNICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKERBachelor’s or Master’s degree in related/relevant field or equivalent experienceWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
