*Description* * Oversee plant operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and cost-effective management of resources * Establish and implement safety programs in line with company values and policies * Responsible for day to day management of the business to achieve the budgeted operating profit and working capital targets * Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop, implement, and communicate the operations strategy * Identify, recommend, and implement processes, technologies, and systems to continuously improve product and service quality as well as operational effectiveness and efficiency * Develop and execute annual operating plans and budgets * Provide mentoring and guidance to employees.

* Develop and implement a three-year plan in line with the company objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth * Develop and present performance reports and metrics to the leadership team members * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related * 7+ years of successful senior operations management experience in multi-location manufacturing and distribution environments with strong experience in engineering, operations, and manufacturing * 5 years of leadership experience in operations, supply chain and plant management * Proven ability to develop, implement, and lead successful strategies and tactics to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency (lean management) * Experience in Lean & Six Sigma methodologies a plus * Proven ability to build strong, effective relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders * High energy, teamwork, and passion for development team members * Ability to lead, train, mentor, and implement be practices amongst reports Our client is a well-known manufacturing company and part of a global corporation in Los Angeles (Downey / Whittier area).
