Planning & Operations Manager, Company Marketing

This includes leading Company Marketing’s annual marketing planning and goal setting, overseeing the org’s financial accountability and processes in partnership with finance, and managing team-wide operations to drive organization and efficiency. They love to be entrepreneurial, work with cross-functional teams, and lead by serving others.Planning & Operations Manager, Company Marketing Responsibilities* Lead mission-critical projects with the marketing team to define business strategies, optimize org structure and overall organization health, and improve operational efficiencies. This does not include stepping into the role of marketersLead and build the strategic marketing, planning, and operations processes to support Facebook company consumer marketing organizationLead planning including H1/H2 goals and prioritization for the groups, learnings to date, best practices across the organization, headcount planning and budget allocation etc.Manage day-to-day operational needs of the consumer marketing organization, which includes interfacing with finance regarding budgeting and forecasting, working with marketers regarding campaign flight calendar, partnering with the marketing leadership team on annual plans and semi-annual plans, and other duties as assignedRecruiting and hiring support as neededManage organizational operations such as resourcing and headcount management, restructures, Pulse action planningHelp drive certain processes for internal team communications across HPMs, All Hands, Summit, and Content CalendarsMinimum Qualifications* 5+ years of work experience with communications, research and analysisProject management experience with experience shifting priorities while maintaining organization and controlExperience leading cross-functional projects in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environmentExtremely organized and detail-orientedDemonstrated capacity to communicate complex, large-scale concepts clearly and simplyExperience navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretionPreferred Qualifications* Management consulting experienceExperience capturing complex concepts quickly and communicate them succinctly to key stakeholdersLocationsAbout the Facebook companyFacebook’s mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
