People Operations Manager

GOAT Group is seeking a People Operations Manager who will play a pivotal part in building and scaling the People Operations function.

In this role you will:

  • Partner with the Sr.

    Manager of People Operations and cross functional teams to create & maintain end-to-end onboarding processes for multiple employee types and locations.

  • Play a lead role in overseeing projects that impact the People Operations team such as implementation of ticketing system, updates to termination and other processes, etc.
  • In partnership with key stakeholders across the People Team, support the ongoing rollout of flexible and remote work policies.
  • Facilitate and communicate HR policies, updates, and changes in accordance with company objectives and federal/state legal requirements.
  • Ensure legal compliances with local labor laws and HR best practices, including but not limited to I-9’s, EEOC filings and Worker’s Compensation.
  • Manage compliance-related trainings such as harassment prevention and timekeeping policies; oversee rollout across multiple employee types (i.e.

    retail, warehouse, and corporate).

  • Seamlessly partner with internal stakeholders including our broader People Team, Executive Team, IT, and other leaders across GOAT’s business.
  • Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.

We are looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience in HR/People Operations
  • Strong interest in the employee onboarding experience
  • Familiarity with implementing processes across different populations of a company (i.e.

    corporate, retail, warehouse, etc.)

  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Proven ability to calmly and effectively work through ambiguity and competing priorities
  • A love of continual learning, approaching the challenges of an ambiguous, dynamic environment and rapidly change responsibilities with a curious mindset and “get-the-job-done” mentality
  • Experience with UKG HRIS system is a plus
