The Role The Organizational Development Manager will lead the design and delivery of team-focused development activities using endorsed Organizational Development tools and models, primarily in the North American-based KARL STORZ business units.

The Manager will provide expert-level facilitation and guidance for high-impact development experiences, commensurate with modern global / corporate benchmarks.

Ideally, the role can be based in any of our North American office locations: El Segundo, CA, Stafford, TX, or Auburn/Charlton, MA.

Lead contracting process with stakeholders to establish common understandings, define mutual responsibilities / accountabilities, set realistic expectations, etc.

Scoping, design, delivery, sustainment, and evaluation of team development services.

Direct collaboration and/or oversight of local HRBP’s and/or external consulting vendors as needed.

Deliver expert-level facilitation of team development activities.

Quickly form personal impressions and trusting interpersonal connections, in order to get underneath stated positions to understand underlying interests and uncover potential creative solutions.

Guide constructive conflict and discussion, while allowing appropriate freedom and flexibility Keep stakeholders focused on overarching objectives and actionable outcomes; and help them identify, prioritize, and document action items.

Base facilitation practice in models and theories, while presenting concepts to participants in a digestible manner which they can easily grasp and utilizer role model desired behaviors, and influence without authority Departmental considerations Active collaboration with international Team Development and Business Intervention peers.

Support the continuous improvement and innovation of team development services, tools, modalities, etc Track and manage workload and bandwidth Functional liaison Align content and instructional design with other OD department offerings Collaborate with related groups, including the other Global HR functional leads, global & local HRBP leaders, the Project Support Services and Business Process Management departments, etc Educate, develop, and partner with stakeholders, including globally dispersed local HRBP’s Subject matter area visibility and advocacy, including supporting the expansion of our services into underserved geographies, particularly including Asia Requirements Minimum years of relevant work experience: 5-7 Minimum education, certifications and/or credentials: Master’s in Organizational Development or related field Must be able to maintain productive working relationships and treat fellow employees with respect.
