OR Manager

Job Description Position Summary Direct supervision of the medical service delivery system, supervise and evaluate staff and volunteers to ensure that all goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with policies and procedures. Plan, organize and direct daily clinic activities. Work under the direction of the Operations Director and in conjunction with the Clinical Medical Director and Clinical Administrator to ensure all compliance and quality requirements are met. Schedule: · Flexible, may require some evening and weekends · Hours worked per week may exceed 40 hours Primary Duties and Responsibilities · Manages and oversees the administrative operations of the clinic and Janitorial staff. · Ensures clinic flow efficiency including financial efficiency. · Develops strategic plans to enhance growth in business. · Overall supervision of the clinic staff. · Ensures that both Front and Back office process the patients timely and appropriately. · Handles and resolves patients’ complaints/grievance as per policies and procedures. · Monitors productivity and receivables. · Monitor new enrollment and ensures member retention. · Seeks opportunity to collaborate with other agencies in promoting the clinics services. · Ensure the clinics site and medical records are always prepare for audits. · Develops and implements clinic protocols. · Ensures dissemination of information to the clinic staff, providers and other divisional manager on any updates and/or changes of clinics protocols. · Attends Management, Staff and QA meetings and other meetings as requested. · Oversee patient billing/certification procedures for all clinic services. · Assist in the development and implementation of special clinic projects. · Maintains HIPPA and OSHA compliance at all times. · Maintains confidentiality. · Train new clinic staff as necessary · Coordinate community events and information in conjunction with the Marketing Director. · Review and approve time sheets, input and transmit BI-monthly payroll. · Establish and maintain a liaisons with community based resources. · Assist in the development and implementation of special clinic projects. · Maintain a positive working relationship with staff. · Check email upon arrival every morning · Other duties as assigned by Operations Director, Clinical Services Director, Medical Director, or Executive Director. Secondary Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the increase of NECC network within the LAUSD system Ensure the growth of the Wellness Program through the numbers of participants and patients Establish collaboration and integration of mental, behavioral and oral health agencies in servicing the students, families and communities Increase enrollments and renewal assistance into health insurance programs Ensure the fiscal viability of the Wellness Program Attends trainings and meetings including: Learning Collaborative Panel LAUSD and LA Children Trust Foundation Health Advisory Council Best Start – First 5 Minimum Requirements · Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/Outlook · Excellent Communication Skills · Excellent Customer Service Skills · Bi-lingual Spanish/English (preferred) · Ability to work as a team player and work independently · Reliable transportation · Must be able to travel from facility to facility · This position requires 10 % travel with frequent travel outside the local area. Some overnight and/or interstate travel. Required Education/Experience and/or Licensure/Certification · Knowledge of clinic operations with at least five years of clinic management experience · Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience · Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, or certification in Clinic Office Management preferred (Experience may substitute for education) · Knowledgeable DHS, HIPPA, CHDP/GATEWAY and other public health programs. · Commitment to goals and philosophy of Northeast Community Clinic · Current CPR and/or BLS Certification · Valid State Identification Company Description Join the NECC Team NECC has been providing primary and preventative healthcare services since 1971 to the low-income, uninsured, and underserved residents of Los Angeles County.
