Ambulnz is also the largest private ambulance company responding to COVID-19 in NYC, and has transported over 10,000 patients with COVID-19 nationally.We are bringing innovation to a stagnant industry and are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team.As an Operations Manager you will:* Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers* Serve as a role model for professionalism in both appearance and demeanor at all times* Promote and maintain a culture of trust and teamwork with the entire operational team* Serve as a point of contact for members of the operational team* Possess a thorough understanding of the service area, current services, and contracted facilities* Serve as a liaison between the field operations and the Communication Center* Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the quality assurance and improvement programs* Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations when applicable, counsel and provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel with a goal of developing a team-oriented approach with positive results* Collaborate effectively with management, Communication Center, and Fleet Department toensure efficient daily operations* Demonstrate a high degree of familiarity with local, regional and state regulations that pertainto EMS* Demonstrate a high degree of familiarity and compliance with all internal and customer policiesand procedures related to daily operations* Review data, reports and statistical information, analyze trends and render recommendationspertinent to operational effectiveness* Schedule and conduct operations staff meetings and/or training sessions* Participate in the selection of new personnel and the interview process* Address complaints and resolve problems as appropriate* Assist with driving performance evaluation and remediation* Provide guidance and/or corrective action to subordinates when needed* Act as a resource for all employees* Provide daily oversight for Operations* Assist management with operational changes* Comply with all employment laws and support affirmative action/equal opportunity anddiversity goals* Other duties as assignedOperations Manager Job Requirements:* Demonstrated background of successful customer service experience* Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures* Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsOperation Manager Qualifications:To be successful in this role, an individual must be able to adequately perform each essential duty.
