Operations Manager

Location: Century City, Los Angeles, US (WFH during the pandemic)

About This Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for creating strategies and tactics to increase BIGO LIVE’s broadcasters’ activities for the local American market to drive revenue growth. He/she will be a self-starter and adaptable to frequent change. He/she will be a natural problem solver and ready to think creatively about big challenges and present actionable solutions. He/she will also be naturally collaborative with a proven track record of working successfully across teams

Responsibilities

  • Communicate, influence, and drive growth and performance with agency leader partners and principals who manage broadcasters from third party agencies
  • Lead kick-off campaigns with agencies and manage all timelines, assets, and opportunities for optimization, and set clear expectations with agencies
  • Managing a full P&L, including planning, forecasting, and driving growth for your categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business. 
  • Create, promote, execute, and wrap-up online events and initiatives designed for the recruitment and development of new and established broadcasters and agencies
  • Complete the host hosting work, refine, organize, and package valuable high-quality content as required, organize and plan hot topics, and build live platform columns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience
  • 3+ years experience in negotiations and vendor management
  • Comprehensive understanding of the landscape and new developments in new media, tech, and entertainment industry in US.; live broadcast industry preferred
  • Understand the Internet and be proficient in using mainstream social networks (Facebook, Twitter, g+, Instagram, YouTube, etc.);
  • Rapid learning and adaptability, good at communication;
  • Skilled use of Office, can use Word, Excel, PPT for operational analysis and reporting
  • Analytical skills; Experience with data analysis and report; Ability to make data driven decisions highly preferred
