Premium cafe and coffee brand, Bluestone Lane, is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Operations Manager to join our fast-growing Los Angeles Team, overseeing all Bluestone Lane Cafes & Coffee Shops in this region–experience with QSR & Coffee a plus!

The Operations Manager is responsible for providing the leadership, direction and support to Coffee Shop and Cafe management level employees necessary to consistently exceeds Local’s expectations through the service of high quality Coffee, Food and other Beverages in a clean, hospitable and comfortable atmosphere while achieving sales and profit objectives.

The Operations Manager is responsible for the ongoing development of all levels of his/her store’s FOH & BOH staff.

The Operations Manager must assist the Operations Director and Senior Operations Director in implementing existing as well as new systems, standard operating procedures, processes, policies and support mechanisms.

The Operations Manager is empowered to take decisive action when necessary to achieve these objectives.

What you’ll do:
Develops a cohesive team of managers, chefs and line employees, in each of his/her Coffee Shop/Cafes within their region, and have them embrace the Vision and Culture of Bluestone Lane and work together, towards achieving the common goals of the organization Facilitates appropriate, Daily Coaching and Acknowledgement sessions and one-on-ones with stores management and line employee to ensure clear communication and continued achievement of our operational goals Ensures that each store in his/her region is operating at or above our standards Works closely with his/her management teams to ensure the daily upkeep of the physical plant Works with the management teams in his/her region to increase guest counts, daily sales, operational profitability and help develop a loyal local base Demonstrates a strong performance in regards to managing the financial health of the stores in his or her region

Who you are:
Minimum five years’ management experience (management in a food establishment preferred) Ability to work in high-pressure environments Understanding of kitchen operations Well-organized and detail-oriented Experience in, and an ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system Proficient on a computer; familiar with Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, communicate and train team members Effective problem solving/decision making abilities Accreditation with Department of Health for Food Protection Certificate Excellent interpersonal, leadership and English verbal communication skills
