Office Manager

Century City based plaintiff-side law firm is looking for a full-time office manager. We are seeking a candidate with a great attitude, problem solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, an outstanding work ethic, two years of work experience as an office manager (with an emphasis on human resources), as well as a bachelor?s degree. The ideal candidate will be finished with school and seeking a full-time career as an office manager. Experience with a fast-paced work environment is needed for this role as well as the ability to manage multiple projects at a time while turning out great work product. Candidate must be comfortable communicating via email and knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel.

Additional duties include but are not limited to the following:  

 

  • Supervising legal assistants, file clerk, and receptionist;
  • Ordering and stocking office supplies;
  • Maintaining common office areas (copy rooms, kitchens, conference rooms, etc.);
  • Serving as the liaison between the office and the office of the building;
  • Coordinating, researching, and arranging travel;
  • Coordinating events (meetings, conferences, parties, etc.);
  • Calendaring;
  • Back-up reception; and
  • Data entry in PCLaw (client costs).

Work occasionally requires a high level of mental effort and strain when performing essential duties. Candidate should be able to perform these duties under the pressure of deadlines and interruptions.
