The position will focus on Sensor Instruments and components such as Gyroscopes, MEMS, and Precision Optics/Glass fabrication.What You’ll get to Do:Organize and deploy members of the team so that all product lines and work cells are supported with process owners with clear expectations.Take ownership of organizing and executing periodic comprehensive Manufacturing Engineering product line reviews.Be the Woodland Hills site focal point for Technology Discriminators at the Division and Sector level including Automation, Advanced Packaging, Additive Manufacturing, and Digital Factory Initiatives.Manage the personnel elements of this role including coaching, career development, performance reviews, resolving work issues, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, developing and working on engagement activities with the team.Monitor and manage the financials for the group relative to budgets for various programs, product line support, and overhead activities.Represent the Manufacturing Engineering discipline in support of internal and external customer reviews and requests such as PDR, CDR, Deep Dives, Program Kickoffs, MRR, writing Proposal Sections, and Technical Interchange Meetings.To learn more about our hiring process for manager positions, please view our Selecting the Best Qualified Managers video: www.Northropgrumman.Com/SQMVideoMANUMS 1NGSPACE Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline (Science, Technology Engineering or Math) with 9+ years of experience; Master’s with 7+ years of experience; PhD with 4+ years of experience.3+ years of relevant technical management experience.Ability to lead and empower a diverse team of engineers and drive operational efficiency improvements.Familiarity with Design of Experiment (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), 6 sigma concepts for process development, and control.Fluency in MS Office software applications.U.S.

citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with transitioning to production and leading capacity expansion through capital Equipment and laboratory investments.Familiarity with SAP, technical proposal writing, and cost estimating.Knowledge of sensor technology and materials.Project Management or Process Engineering experience.” Salary Range: 116160 174240Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
