New Accounts Manager

Job Description:

We have an immediate need for a New Accounts Manager in our Los Angeles office. The position is responsible for the management and supervision of the New Accounts team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and supervise New Accounts team
  • Oversee and audit all account openings to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Review accounts on RemitPro to confirm, audit, and verify client information
  • Work with business stakeholders on the overall coordination and execution of KYC documentation collection, analysis, and reviews to ensure the firm’s ongoing compliance with AML policy
  • Draft, train, and implement department procedures
  • Act as primary contact for sales offices for New Accounts
  • Respond and address regulatory compliance and internal audit requests
  • Address and resolve escalated client calls
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties and tasks as required and assigned

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience and understanding of BETA, Sungard, RemitPro, AdminX, and Broker Insight
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Series 99 and SIE licenses required
  • Series 24 license preferred but not required
  • AML / KYC experience leading a team and developing an individual’s KYC expertise
  • Ability to analyze client information and documentation to facilitate account opening
  • Understanding of rules, regulations and regulatory requirements including Bank Secrecy Act, US Patriot Act, OFAC
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency

  • Excellent customer service skills
