National Account Manager – Western Region

A global leader in the design and manufacture of high-efficiency LED lighting and control systems has just released a new interior lighting product designed to enhance visual appeal to the commercial, retail product display industry. The National Sales role will be responsible for developing new accounts within the grocery and Big Box industry for their new product release for commercial, retail customers.

Responsibilities * Develop key relationships within assigned market* Establishes professional client/vendor relationships with appropriate client personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, other key personnel)* Identify and close new sales opportunities through vigorous prospecting for new clients and maximizing the potential revenue from existing clients * Provide excellent service to ensure client satisfaction and retention* Analyze the competitive position of the organization?s products and/or services and communicate findings with appropriate teammates* Participate in marketing activities including: representing company at trade shows and industry conferences, development and improvement of marketing collateral and sales programs/promotions * Provide management timely communication of key sales activities and important developments with national accounts.

* Management and control of all sales expenses (operating, travel & entertainment, promotional)* Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision Qualifications * Bachelor?s degree* 6+ years new business development/ sales experience in the LED lighting with national accounts within the grocery, Big Box arena* Strong sales and relationship development skills * Results-oriented and self-motivated.
